8th Q: Have you ever called the police? Why?

Yes, I have. In the early summer of 2001, I awoke around 2 a.m. I felt someone watching me. At first I couldn't see anyone in my bedroom, but I was shocked to see a man roaming around my living room. I locked the bedroom door quickly, and called the police. Luckily, the police officer came to my apartment in about 5 minutes.

The man turned out to be one of my neighbors. My apartment number was 606, and his was 603. After he got drunk, he took the wrong entrance. I happened not to lock the front door that night. From that night, I have always made a double check to lock windows and doors before I go to bed.

Is There a Local Festival in Your City?

Yesterday my family and I went to Kwangju to see my sister-in-law's sister's wedding ceremony. On the way home we went to Hampyong, where a local festival is being held. There are so many butterfly and insects. My sons really enjoyed it. They wished they could stay longer, but we couldn't. I promised them to bring them to another festivals.

Could you recommend any interesting festivals you've experienced?
Iksan holds a cherry blossom festival in spring and a a chrysanthemum festival in fall.
If you visit Iksan during the festivals, you can get a discount on some jewelry.

6th Question

Hi, everyone.

Did you enjoy your weekend? Actually I couldn't.
As soon as I arrived home, I had to do so many house chores.
I felt tired on the night of April 12, but the next day I did what was left behind.
Finally, I went to ER to get a shot and a prescription Sunday morning.

I feel a big burden in doing house chores.
How do you share your house chores with your partner?

My husband doesn't like to do any when I am at home.
Usually I take the most parts; cooking, cleaning, vacuuming doing the laundry and so on.
I understand that he is too busy, but I sometimes feel like it's unfair.

5th Question

Hello!
I'm so happy to be back to K.N.U.E., except that I didn't finish an outlining for Reggie's composition class. It is hard for me to think critically and make a rough outline.
At school, I didn't give much homework to my students.
I know they already have many kinds of homework.
And most of them come home very late, even after midnight.
They don't have enough sleep.
That's the reason I don't give them much homework.

I have enough time, and I can't finish my homework in time, though.

When you teach at school, how often do you give homework?
And how much time are the students expected to spend on their homework?
