3rd Question

Where do you think is the most impressive place that you've been to with your family?

My husband and I don't like to travel.

We prefer to stay inside, but my sons love to go to somewhere else.

People say that there isn't much time to be with children.

If they grow up, they don't like to be with their parents.

I'd like to travel a lot with my sons, when they are young and I am not too old.

Hi, Kate.

Do you know you have a sense of humor even though you are telling me you are a serious person?

Kate, I'd like to join you for Walter's 2nd task. Please let me know if it's still possible.

Last summer, I went to Ocean World in Hongchon with my family. We had lots of fun there. Also, there were several tourist attractions near the resort.

Last summer, my family we went to Singapore. The weather was good, there were many things to see, especially for children. My child really liked it. Most of all, among the Asian countries where English is spoken, Singapore is the best. What I liked most was taxi fare was really cheap.

Last January, My wife and I traveled European countries to celebrate the 10th anniversary of our wedding. Among them, I was really impressed with two cities. Firenze and Rome. The famous Japanese film, Between Calm And Passion (냉정과 열정사이), made me lead to these cities. If you were there, I could smell the scent of human beings and history.

My family went to Jeju Island a few years ago in a winter. We took a plane in Yeosu Airport. We stayed four days. We rent a car and drove around. The first day was windy but sunny. The next day sas rainy. On the third day it was a nice day to travel around. And the last day it snowed a lot. We worried and waiting in the Jeju Airport to come back. Until the last thirty minute we stared at the board again and again.

In total, it was a nice experience. We enjoyed our holiday. My little son want to go there again.

Hi, Kate.
Your family looks so happy!
If your family can go somewhere for traveling, I think there is no the most impressive place. I mean that if you and your family can go together, the place is less important than being together.
Regardless of place, however, try to travel as many places as possible while your kids are young.
Do you know why?
If they grow up, they might not want to travel with you.. (I'm sad in that point. ㅠㅠ..)

Hi, smart lady!
First I recommend you to visit the European countries. A few years ago my family went there. It was great! Italy is an attractive country. Rome, Vatican city...Your children will have much knowledge of the culture and geography and history of the world. But it will cost you a lot of money. If you go to French, don't forget to bring your international teacher's id and your children's student ids. The museums in French is free for all teachers and students.
Second, I advice you to go to USA. How about renting a car and cross the country from west to east? Before going, you need to plan carefully. But it'll also cost you a great deal of money.
Third, I love the Philippines. People are kind, prices are low, nature is so beautiful and you can enjoy various kinds of tropical fruits!! Communication in English is possble.
The choice is yours! Have fun!

Nowadays I am so happy to taking a walk with you. You are such a nice daughter.

I've been Thailand and Combodia with my family. As you know, Combodia is very poor country. When we entered over the border of Thailand, they saw so many poor children. Some of them were disabled poor children. They've never though of those children before, so they were so surprised and scared. Of couese we had a great time there together;visiting Ankor Wat and riding a boat on Tonle Sap Lake, visiting Thai Royal Place, etc. When we came home, they were a little different. They thanked everything they had.

Hi Kate,
What lovely photos. I know in Korean society it's difficult to get holiday time so it's hard to take family vacations. Most of my childhood, my family camped by a lake about 2 hours from our home. It was wonderful to sit in the camp site, playing card games, throwing a ball and swimming with each other.
